Sarah and James celebrated their elegant summer wedding at the beautiful Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens in Sarisbury Green, Southampton.
Their wedding was the perfect blend of editorial elegance and natural storytelling. Sarah loved the idea of creating timeless, stylish portraits inspired by photographs she had seen on Pinterest, while James preferred a much more relaxed and candid approach.
Before the wedding, we met for a pre-wedding photoshoot where we explored different ideas together. This gave Sarah and James the opportunity to become comfortable in front of the camera while helping us discover what felt most natural for them as a couple.
During the shoot, Sarah was particularly keen to try a few iconic wedding poses, including the classic dip kiss. Whilst James was initially a little hesitant, the pre-wedding session helped build confidence and ensured they both felt comfortable with what they wanted to do on the wedding day.
The wedding itself was filled with long-standing friendships, family connections and beautiful summer sunshine. Throughout the day we combined documentary wedding photography with elegant editorial portraits, creating a gallery that reflected both Sarah and James perfectly.
