Sophie and Andy celebrated their beautiful winter wedding with a traditional church ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Southampton before continuing their celebrations at the stunning Wickham Vineyard near Botley, Hampshire.
From the very beginning, Sophie and Andy knew exactly how they wanted their wedding photographs to feel. Their priority wasn’t spending hours posing for the camera or creating heavily styled images. Instead, they wanted their wedding day documented naturally, allowing every genuine moment to unfold while being captured authentically.
The ceremony at St Mary’s Church was full of emotion and excitement as family and friends gathered to witness the couple exchange vows. Following the ceremony, guests travelled to Wickham Vineyard, where the celebrations continued amongst the beautiful Hampshire countryside.
As a vineyard wedding venue, Wickham Vineyard offers a wonderful backdrop for natural wedding photography. Even during winter, the venue provides plenty of character and atmosphere, creating opportunities for relaxed portraits while allowing couples to spend most of their time enjoying the day with loved ones.
Although Sophie and Andy preferred a documentary wedding photography approach, they also wanted to ensure the important family photographs were captured. By blending natural storytelling with a handful of carefully organised group photographs, we created a wedding gallery that truly reflected their day and the people who meant the most to them.
