Charlotte and Rory’s intimate Winchester wedding proved that smaller celebrations can be every bit as meaningful and emotional as larger weddings.
Held in the heart of Winchester, their day centred around The Wykeham Arms and St George’s Tea Rooms, two much-loved venues that provided the perfect setting for a relaxed celebration with family and close friends.
Like many couples, Charlotte and Rory initially felt nervous about being photographed. Before the wedding we met for a pre-wedding couples photoshoot, allowing them to become comfortable in front of the camera and helping us build a genuine connection before the big day.
By the time their wedding arrived, any nerves had disappeared.
Although Charlotte originally requested simple candid photographs, she also deserved beautiful portraits that celebrated such an important occasion. Through gentle guidance and natural posing, we created photographs that felt elegant without ever feeling forced.
One of the most rewarding moments came when Charlotte told me she had never felt so beautiful. Creating photographs that help couples see themselves through a different lens is always one of the greatest privileges of being a wedding photographer.
